With a strong belief that 'success is not about how much wealth you possess, it’s about what difference you make in people’s lives', Priti Khare has transitioned out from a high paid corporate career to a nonprofit world 5 years ago. She has channelized her passion of mentoring and supporting the girls from less privileged backgrounds- one of the girls is her foster daughter and she has converted that into her purpose, mission and full time career.
She has been serving as Chief Executive Officer & Trustee of Lila Poonawalla Foundation (LPF) and committed to 'create an equitable world for girls and young women and transform the societies'. LPF over the past 28 years, has transformed around 16,000 academically bright, but financially challenged girls and young women through merit-cum-need based scholarships and skill building programs. Through it’s projects, LPF promotes STEM Education for girls and young women, Gender Equality and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion priorities of the organizations, nation and globe.
Priti carries over 23 years of experience in leading Non-Profit operations, Corporate Social Responsibility, Human Resources, Sales and Consulting and worked with Non-Profit, MNCs and Consulting companies in India and USA. Priti holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Management from Mumbai University. She is a certified CSR Professional and a Leadership Coach. She is a recipient of many CSR Excellence & Leadership Awards. She is a Marathon Runner and Everest Base Camp Trekker. She is wife & companion of Sanjyot, a mother to Sanika and foster mother to Kajal- her mentee and she is friends to many.
